It’s called the MD.2 Personal Medication System and it is specifically designed for persons who have trouble remembering, sorting out and taking their medications. The MD.2 is ideal for persons who are experiencing physical dexterity problems, moderate to mild dementia, as well as persons with complex medication schedules.

The MD.2 unit can be loaded with up to 60 doses of medication at one time. It will automatically dispense each dose in individual cups at pre-programmed times in accordance with the person’s medication schedule. The unit’s locking compartment keeps medications safe.

What’s more, the system is constantly monitored, so if a person forgets to take the prescribed dose, the MD.2 will automatically call your caregiver(s) to let them know.

Additionally, caregivers can also log on to the internet and track their family member’s dispensing records so they can confirm that the machine is performing properly.
